Led by Jocelyn Wozencroft, the Half Day Training option allows Caulfield School of Dance Professional Training Division members in middle or high school, grades 8 and up, to train in Ballet, including and Contemporary Ballet, and Contemporary Dance, from 1:30pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Students must have an academic schooling schedule that allows for afternoons off all five days per week.
The Half Day Training option is only open to serious and dedicated students. Audition and/or interview and signed Agreements* with students and their guardians are required.
Tuition for the 2018/19 Year for the Half Day program will be $7000.00 which is the fee ceiling for all Professional Training Division members.
All students in the Professional Training Division, whether participating in Half Day Training or not, who are at the $7000 fee ceiling, receive up to $500.00 of Summer Intensive Weeks tuition included in their 2018/19 Tuition. This reduces annual tuition for Half Day Program participants to $6500.00.

– 5% Early Registration Discount $39.00 (reduces Summer Intensive Weeks per instructional hour cost to $14.12)

September to June, Tuition also includes 1:30pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday; an R.A.D. syllabus ballet class for those pursuing an examination; a minimum one hour of conditioning; and workshops on Fridays, often with guest instructors. All students in the Professional Training Division, whether participating in Half Day Training or not, are able to take any additional courses. Additional courses are optional except for individuals who require a co-requisite course or courses to participate in the Half Day program.
Note: Repertoire is determined by Audition.
Half Day program enrolment for the 2018-2019 year will require a minimum of three weeks of Caulfield School of Dance Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Training and proof of participation in not less than 100 hours of summer training in total (i.e. summer classes and programs at Caulfield School of Dance totalling 100 hours or more; or 3 weeks of C.S.D. intensive training = approx. 60 hours + receipts for classes at other institutions totalling at least 40 hours; etc.).
Caulfield School of Dance Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Training:
Week 1: Tuesday, August 7 to Friday, August 10, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Week 2: Monday, August 13 to Friday, August 17, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
Week 3: Monday, August 20 to Friday, August 24, 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
All 3 Weeks of the 2018 Ballet and Contemporary Intensive Weeks are $780.00 +GST.

The fee ceiling does not include semi/private instruction, special exam preparation classes, etc.; any regular group courses of any genre incur no additional tuition fees.
Contract Submission Deadline: t.b.a. Payment of Annual Membership Fee, Costume Deposit, Summer Intensive* deposits, etc. as outlined on the the costume program you receive after the Placement Audition, is due with the contracts.
* You may be registering for more summer classes and/or Intensive weeks than billed on the attached schedule.
* Please ensure you have preregistered online and paid in advance of the commencement of any summer programs including all Summer Intensive Weeks.
* Up to $500 of tuition for CSD Summer Intensive Weeks can be included in the $7000.00 special fee ceiling.

Professional Training Division Workshop: September 4 to 6, 2018.
The Half Day Training option is part of the Professional Training Division and therefore parents and students will be required to sign a contract of commitment. The contract includes a requirement of 10 hours of parent volunteer time per student in the program to be competed by Ticket Sale day in May. Parent(s) and Half Day program students pledge to ensure understanding of and adherence to the Professional Training Division program’s obligations and policies.
